Tommy Update

We've had a lot go on with our little man, but still no real answers.  It's been sad, aggrivating, hard and wonderful too.  I love our little man so much, it has brought us so close because he depends on me alot.
On March 2nd he had tubes put in his ears.  The nurse thought we were the sweetest mother son team she'd ever seen.
Everyday we pray for baby steps forward... somedays it happens others it doesn't.

Easter

Our Easter was different this year.  During the week before Easter we met up with a few groups of people from the girls schools and had these huge eggstravaganzas!  (The girls and I colored 5 dozen eggs total!)  Then on the Saturday before Easter we invited a few families over for one huge egg hunt!  It was probably the best party I've ever thrown.  It was super easy and fun!  Everyone brought stuffed eggs and a dessert and the dads hid the eggs while the moms kept the kids happy.

This one snuck in....  oh well, it's cute.

And for Easter dinner it was just us and the missionaries.  I have to say these are my favorite missionaries ever!  They are so nice, grateful and hardworking.  One told me it was the best meal he'd had on his mission in 22 months and the other said thanks for not making him miss home because it was his first holiday out.  I told them that I'd feed them everyday if they kept giving me compliments like that!  ;oD

Can I tell you that I made the best dinner??!  I did not burn/over or under cook anything!  It was truly a miracle!  I'll try to remember everything I made:  apple citrus glazed ham, deviled eggs, fruit salad, rolls, baked beans, cranberry cornbread stuffing, yams, roasted garlic red mashed potatoes, funeral potatoes, green bean casserole, steamed asparagus, a truly incredible strawberry cream pie (almost made a missionary cry) and I bought a lemon meringue pie. I gave the boys the leftovers and they ate them for a week.

I think it was the nicest Easter we've had in a long time!
