All of the Easter Madness...

This is one of the many pictures I have of my boy with a shovel. I try to hide them or he brings them inside... he always finds them.
These are his two favorites:
This are completely backwards, but whatever, I posted pictures right???

We did Easter Monday with my side of the family. Here are the girls going on an egg hunt.

We played and played outside, you can see a gray blur in the bottom left of this picture, that's my mom's new labradoodle, Mr. Cheerio aka one-eyed-willy. (he had an unfortunate run in with a cactus. The eyeball is still there, but he can't see out of it... Erin messes with him royally!)
I just love these girls!!! How cute are they?!!
Nern biffed it!
Smash an T.

This was Sunday after church, my eggs were stuffed with quarters and dollar bills. With a grandprize five dollar egg, Sophie was the champion! (with a little help from me, but that's our little secret) Billy stuffed his with candy, mine were more popular.
Again with the shovel... he didn't even care about the eggs.

Our fun baskets!

We dyed eggs for the first time, it was really fun!

I was asked to make a hairpiece for a wedding. I take awful pictures so it didn't come out well, but it's amazing!

family time

I decided it would be fun to get out of the house and do something different together, and I thought of a place my friend Emily told me about. I'm so glad we went!
It was a beautiful nature trail:

There was a real sequoia grove! I could not believe it! I had to hug one!

Lots of places to rest your feet:
And a pond with a floating dock!

Tommy learned that if you pull on dads ear he'll make a funny face.

My goof balls:

It was a great afternoon!

I took these pictures a few years ago (obviously, look at the girls) but they are the happiest pictures I have of my grandma and I really wanted to look at some happy memories of her right now.
I am not good at writing stuff like this, so here is a message I got from my mom:
My sweet mom will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow a final time to her home on 25th & a hospice program. She has fought a good fight & is surrounded by family & friends who love her. The dr. told us that end-stage Alzheimer's can last from a few weeks to several months. I find comfort in knowing that she has a multitude of family & friends who will welcome her to eternal life as she leaves us here. Love to all.

She really is the sweetest woman ever placed on this earth. Really.

My favorite picture of her, look at that smile.

I love you Grandma.
