Lia had her first primary program today. It was sweet beyond words. I loved watching her up there and watching Sophie watch her was special too. My babies are growing up way too fast! She had the closing line and it was "I know that my Redeemer lives."
I was also called as the second counselor in the Young Women organization. I'm scared, excited, nervous and slightly overwhelmed. I was so lucky as a teenager to have such amazing leaders, they are still apart of my life and I still have one of their phone numbers memorized! I want to have that kind of relationship with my girls. We'll see!
We have all been super busy around here. Billy is totally swamped with work, I'm busy trying to keep up with him, our 3 amazing kids, our house, grocery shopping, laundry, school, soccer, the list never ends. (Oh! crazy story, last Thursday night my cast broke, so I called first thing on Friday morning and they got me in. As I walked up to the tech who called my name, kind of yelled "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!" I thought I'd done something wrong. Turns out, he could tell my cast was done wrong. Long story short, it was set wrong, so they had to reset it and put it in the right cast. It's made a huge difference. It did not feel good.)
Lia is doing so great in her pre-k class! And she's really enjoying soccer now too. She's improving every week. Yesterday my mom and I were talking about the huge difference we've seen over the last few weeks.
Sophie is still super funny but she's really changing. I noticed it at school a few weeks ago. She's really growing up and come into her own. It's an amazing thing to witness.
Tommy. Tommy is such a boy. He loves to head butt anyone or anything, he loves playing with his new car set he got for his birthday. He is so much fun to play games with. There are not enough fun words to describe him.
All in all, we're lucky. Lucky in love, lucky in life... and grateful for it all!

the (other) Pumpkin Patch
Tommy and I hung out while waiting for everyone to arrive.

he's way too much fun!

The kids did a hay maze.

were silly together!

Poor T had a ROUGH day! We went to the Dr. before the field trip, he got four shots and the Dr. tried to do a "little repair"... it was so sad and a little bloody... he deserved his sucker!

We took a tractor ride over to our very own private pumpkin patch. The girls loved this part!

cheeseball!

My favorite picture of Sophie ever!!!!

Mrs. Kim even took Tommy on a pumpkin hunt!

The petting zoo:

This was in the honey house, we saw a real bee hive and how honey is made then tasted fresh honey... and that was a it took for Lia to decide she loves honey. But she wants her dad to take her back and buy a jar, it's not good enough when I do it... She's smart though, that means another trip to the pumpkin patch.

Sophie loved the tractor ride... until she fell off of the back. It was not moving, it was not a far drop... and I was not there.

It was a crazy day, we had a rough morning, fun afternoon and I needed some rest because I was hurting and exhausted, so we went to Grandma's.

This really should be 15 different posts...
But I'm tired, so it's one ginormous post... here we go:
I promised Sophie that if she went #2 in the toilet we'd go to Disneyland. It took some persuading, but she finally did.
We stopped to have take a picture with Mulan when....
Everyone(Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, all the Princesses, Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins and Jack Sparrow to name a few) walked right by us! I guess if you're there when the park opens there is a character parade... we've never been there when it opened. It was crazy fun though. The girls and I went crazy.

Lia had no idea who was coming up behind her, but she about fainted when she noticed.

Then we had to get Sophies favorite thing in the world, a "piiiiiiit Mickey Mouse soker" aka a pink Mickey Mouse sucker. She asks for one everyday of her life.

ahhhhhhhh, at last.

Someday I want to have my flower bed look like this:

And hang some of these:

What do ya know, Tommy was happy ;oD

He was a little tired...

Playing with fun waterbottles.

Sophie got her first haircut, she wasn't a big fan and I had to hold her hand the whole time, so there's only one picture.
We went to a party so my kids could meet my Uncle Bobby and Aunt Alice for the first time.

Bobby and Geoff.
Sophie got CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY sick! It was a nightmare. One pointless Urgent Care visit, 2 wrong prescriptions, $80.00 in wasted co-pays then and ER visit, steroids, breathing treatments and rest.
Did I mention mom and dads broken hearts?!!!
Tommy saw the light at the end of the tunnel.
She was proud of her special bracelet.
And then, she was better.
A ward member is running for city council and just happens to have a 1964 firetruck, who doesn't? (notice the Calliope on back) anyway, they stopped by our house so our girls could take a picture with it. It was fun!

(Lia looks silly)

Then this happened:
At first I thought it was sprained. (yes I need a pedicure, but that's going to have to wait until the middle of November) But then it went black...

This was about an hour after it happened.

I stopped by the park where Billy proposed to me 6 years ago...
GG and Tommy holding hands.
I was in a wedding, Erin did my hair and make up... she rocks.
I promised Sophie that if she went #2 in the toilet we'd go to Disneyland. It took some persuading, but she finally did.

Happy b-day boy!
Such a rockstar!!!
Since I have a few physical limitations right now, I could only do balloons... but Tommy was (and is still) in heaven!!!

They get their good looks from their dad and their bed head from me!

cute cute cute!!!!
Then we took the most handsome baby boy out to lunch with my mom, sister, sister in law and niece.

They all had a great time, doing the maze, petting zoo and shopping... I'm not gonna lie, I didn't do anything... crutches make it all a little hard.

I did steal a few kisses from my beautiful boy!

And that's it... the good the bad and the ugly! :o)
