Here we are!

I am so happy with the way these pictures came out. I am so grateful to Lucas, I love that this talented young man wanted to shoot some fun pictures of my family on the railroad tracks. The only thing that I would change is the red flower in may hair... oh well.




The last nice picture of Billy and I was taken at our wedding, usually I'm holding the camera and it's a great shot of our nostrils!
Here is my absolute favorite though!!!!

a family photo shoot

A talented young man in our ward wanted to practice family pictures and asked if he could practice on our family. I'm so excited, I love this one of Lia... the rest will come later!

A little more Christmas...

This little guy is the epitome of a little ham. Notice the trail of icecicles and you don't see the six other candy canes of the ground in front of him.


He's a sucker bandit too. I promise I do not give my kid candy... he's just that good! He knows where all of my stashes are and I thought he'd think that the ones on the tree were decorations. Oh well, my kids are smart... I'm not.

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas... (and these are so totally out of order!)

They decorated their own tree, Sophie took it VERY seriously!

Sophie passed out in the car on the way home from LA, clutching her in-n-out cup for dear life!
I drove a group of kids to the LA Temple, aside from my GPS deciding to take us on city streets only and putting us like 2 hours behind, it was a great night!
To say I love my new calling is an understatement! I ADORE all of these kids, I am so lucky to be working with them. They teach me constantly!

Turbo Boy sped around the visitor center. There were four of us in a square shape around him so he could get some energy out. It was like a swimmer in a shark cage.
They've redone the VC since I was last there, seriously it is all Matrix-ed out! This screen is in a pane of glass, see through from the back and it was seriously the coolest thing I've ever seen.






Santa mailed the girls some craft projects. We had fun putting them together.

I made this wreath, I tried to do my on interpretation of the ones at Disneyland.


The girls loved the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, so they've been creating their own parades whenever they can.
We made Spritz cookies, of course.

I keep busting T, I don't think our trees will survive him.

Out of the Mouths of Babes...

Yesterday Lia was on a roll with really fun and sweet things coming out of her mouth, my two favorites were:

We were talking about babies and she asked what I looked like as a baby, so I went and grabbed the one picture I have of me as a little baby and when she looked at it she said:
"Oh mom, you're so cute!" then she paused and tilted her head to the side and said "Mom, it looks like Grandpa has very special hands"... and I started to cry. I've never talked to her about my dads disease and that his hands shook every day of my life. I just thought it was so sweet, she is so in tune with people, like some sort of super power!

Then at school, they have a phonics box and everyday you're supposed to bring in an item that starts with the the letter of the week. This week it's "D" and when it was Lia's turn to go up Mrs. Kim asked her if she had something and Lia said "I didn't bring anything, but mom says I'm darn cute!"

Yeah, she's awesome!
