I just got the news that a little over an hour ago my sweet Grandma went peacefully in her sleep. I love her so much and will be forever grateful for everything she ever did for me (and growing up that was alot!)
I will miss her sweet smile and silly laugh. I'm so glad my girls got to spend time with her and get to know her.
That's the only part that really hurts, we have to tell them.  It breaks my heart to even think about it.

She, of course, had to pick the smallest one, luckily she tripped and dropped it and we got a much bigger one!

As they were coming down, I was thinking of everything they've been through... and I started to cry, they deserved such a happy moment!!!

 I was holding Tommy and trying to take these... it didn't turn out very well.  They hurt your eyes they're so blurry!

This was the ugly cake.  If I had good cake decorating stuff (and skills) I wanted to make this look like a tire, because I wrote "2 Goodyears with Tommy" like Goodyear tires...  Tommy loves cars!



I made sandwiches and prepped all of the toppings, easy and really good!  My mom and sis did the salad and chips. I'm so grateful to have them on my team, I couldn't have done it with out them!  (I was teaching a class at Super Saturday until 2)



Then the fun cake! 

Baby Olivia got her first balloon, she took some home and my cousin told me that she is still playing with them... she even fell asleep holding onto the ribbon during her nap today!

And ended in literally the coolest place ever!  The refrigeration room... That my dad and Grandpa built a looooooooooong time ago.  You could feel them in there, it looks just like my Grandpa Tommy's shop up in Escalante! 

We went to Law's and waited 2 hours for our food to come...  and it was still worth it!

September 21st was the first International Alzheimer's Awareness Day, and to show your support you were just supposed to wear purple.  I sold purple hairbows and gave the money to and Alz. Charity, my beehives made 75 purple ribbons and handed them out to friends and the entire theater department at Mtn. View Middle school wore purple, along with my friends who I spread the word to.  I wish there was something I could do to help my Grandma, but there is not... this was something I could do to show my love and support for her though, and it was fun!!!
